Douglas B. Adler is a Senior Advisor at Permentum Capital. He is a retired partner of the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, with more than 30 years' experience in trial and appellate court proceedings. Doug also currently serves as a Senior Advisor and Litigation Consultant at the legal technology firm Gavelytics.
During his career, Doug was recognized by various publications as a leading lawyer in America. He handled a wide variety of complex commercial litigation, including class actions and intellectual property, antitrust, bankruptcy, contracts, securities, and unfair competition cases. Doug's major clients included the National Football League, MGM, Citigroup, Farmers Insurance, Occidental Petroleum, Revlon, and Avis-Budget. Doug earned his AB (with distinction in all subjects) in Economics from Cornell University, and his JD (cum laude) from Boston College Law School.
